Grades, family and softball are the three most important factors in my life at this point and when I'm not studying or shopping with my mom and sister I'm on a softball diamond with my father nearby. I was born in Houston, Texas on May 23, 1994. I have two very supportive parents and one older sister, (my best friend) Carly. She attends SMU in Dallas. I owe a lot of my success to my parents; my mom is a great cheerleader and my father is an awesome catcher. I have been playing softball since I was 5 and my life revolves around the sport. I absolutely love being a pitcher. I enjoy controlling the game and take it very seriously. It's a lot of hard work, but I've committed myself to it.
When I'm not on the softball field I like to spend time with my friends and just be a kid. I love being outdoors and I like to stay busy. I can't stand to spend the whole day inside the house. I am a very stubborn person who doesn't back down often. I've set high goals and strong morals for myself in hopes to make my parents proud in everything that I do.
This past year I committed to play softball for the LeTourneau University Yellow Jackets in Longview, Texas and I couldn't be happier. This opportunity is truly perfect for me! My father grew up in Longview and I love the town. I will be able to play the sport that I love, for two amazing coaches while I study in a constructive and positive environment. I am so thankful to be so close to my grandparents who are buried there. I won't be able to talk to them but I can visit them whenever I like. And, I will only be a couple hours away from my sister at SMU. I'm sad to leave my friends, my high school and my childhood behind but I couldn't possibly be any more excited to enter this new chapter of my life. I know it's going to be everything I imagined and more.
